Besides being a well made scarf that looks good and keeps you warm, it also functions as an N95 air filter. And wearing it reminds me of a joke from the comedian Mitch Hedberg:
An escalator can never break: it can only become stairs. You should never see an “Escalator Temporarily Out Of Order” sign, just “Escalator Temporarily Stairs.” Sorry for the convenience. – Mitch Hedberg
The bioscarf is the same for me. The main function is to be a great way to filter out airborne pollutants like smoke, pollen, pollution and germs. But when it is not doing that, it is one hell of a scarf. Especially for a survivalist with grey man theory in mind.
If you are walking through a crowd of people with an equivalent 3M N95 air filter, people will look at you funny. But no one will notice a a person with a scarf.
Plus wouldn’t it be nice to know that you are less likely to catch any of the germs floating around that crowd?
I really can’t think of anything negative to say about this product. Just these positives:
- Well made
- Comes in several colors: black, white, green, and camo
- Oh, and it filters crap out of the air, so you don’t have to breathe it
Buy one for each of your kids, so they bring home less sickness. Buy one for your spouse, so they look good and keep warm. Buy one for yourself, to add to your EDC or your bug out bag. You can’t go wrong with this Bioscarf.
